KYLE J. BERRY

Kyle Berry is a litigator whose background spans both trial and appellate courts, giving him an unusually broad procedural foundation for an attorney at his stage of practice. Before joining Brown Wegner LLP, Kyle clerked for Judge Alan O. Forst of the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal, where he worked through complex appellate issues across a wide range of cases. That experience, combined with additional service in federal and state trial courts, shaped how he approaches disputes: with a strong understanding of how cases are built at the trial level and how they are scrutinized on appeal.
Kyle earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as a Student Writing Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and reached the quarterfinals of the 1L Mock Trial competition. During his time at Vanderbilt, his article on the use of anti-circumvention measures to avoid geographic content restrictions under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, as compared to how international treaties and the EU regulate geographic content restrictions, was published in the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. He holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Business, cum laude, from Florida State University. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and Appellate Law Section.
