EVAN SIMON

Of Counsel

Evan Simon, Brown Wegner, Of Counsel

Evan Simon brings an uncommon combination of big-firm litigation training and firsthand entrepreneurial experience to his practice at Brown Wegner LLP. He began his legal career as an associate at Jones Day, one of the world’s leading international law firms, where he spent five years handling intellectual property and complex litigation matters. That foundation continues to define his approach to every engagement.

What distinguishes Evan is the practical business perspective he brings alongside his legal training. He built and continues to operate his own real estate brokerage and manages a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial assets. He has navigated the full arc of business ownership, from formation and operations to deal-making and dispute resolution, and that experience translates directly into the counsel he provides to clients facing complex legal and business challenges.

For in-house counsel, Evan offers something that is genuinely difficult to find: a litigator who understands how businesses actually work, how deals come together and fall apart, and what is at stake when legal disputes threaten operations, relationships, or assets. Evan also has a broad range of legal experience, having handled commercial, real estate, intellectual property, employment, trusts and estates, insurance, regulatory compliance, and class action matters. He approaches every matter with the practical orientation of someone who has sat on the business side of the table.
