The Firm successfully represented a client that invents and manufactures safety products in a matter on appeal in the Federal Circuit. In a patent infringement case that settled on favorable terms for the client the first day of trial, the client’s adversaries challenged the resulting dismissal of the case in an attempt to unwind the settlement agreement. Bill Brown and Matt Wegner convinced the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals to uphold the dismissal, thereby securing a favorable outcome for the client. Spellbound Development Group, Inc. v.
